About Me
- Bee
- Hello! I have been crafting ever since I can remember. I am retired now, and have gotten more into making handmade cards. I have also done some scrapbooking and a couple orders for wedding invitations. I really enjoyed doing them! Also have a few baby items I have made, used to sew all the time, but the cards have taken over now!
Welcome to my craft room.
This is the place where I keep track of the cards I have made.
Glad you could stop by and take a look.
Red & Green Blog Challenge
Have entered this card over at http://incywincydesigns.blogspot.com/ in the Red and Green Challenge. They have some great entries, go and take a peak!
Christmas Cards
Oh my......have never got so many cards done at one time! Must of been on a roll last night.
The first two cards are from a download I bought from Making Handmade Cards, last year, and am finally getting around to using some of them.

The next one is for a family member who loves horses! So thought this 3D Decoupaged card was fitting. I turned it into sepia colour and only coloured the wreath, added a little raffia for a bow.
This image is a Christmas Stamp, that I have had for a long time. I loved the image, but just could never figure out how to colour it, so now I don't, just make it all one colour. The background paper has been 3D, and so has the Santa image, the camera is making a shadow and the card itself does not have any blue on it!
This template of the Patchwork card, makes it so easy to whip up a card. I was lucky to get the template from the Imag-e-nation Card Group.
The following two cards are made for two of my Grandchildren and are some images that I put together for the card front, added a shadow effect and the text. Also put glitter on the baubles, but it doesn't show up in the photo.

Penguin Christmas
This is first card done using My Craft Studio, well actually it is the first one done that I like! I did do another one but was not the least bit happy with it at all.
I am trying to learn how to use MCS, and am not very good at using it, thank goodness a good friend Lizzie, from across the ocean, is trying to help me figure it out!

Tri Shutter Mini Album
I wanted to try and don one of these Mini Albums. I finally finished after a few mistakes! lol. The template is easy to cut out, the hardest part for me was trying to figure out what to put in it!
The photos are of the cover, first page opened and opened all the way. I did not end up adding any extra embellishments, maybe on the next one I do..........was getting tired of doing the same card for two days!

Unicorn Diaper Cake
Christmas Slider Card
This is my challenge card for http://incywincydesigns.blogspot.com/ Challenge 15.
This is the first time I have done a Slider card, used a dark green linen cardstock. I also used Tracey's free pinstripe paper and poinsettias, from http://www.fredshesaid.blogspot.com/
I don't use a lot of embellishments on cards, so only used a few peel offs, and some glitter glue, as I thought the flowers where enough of an embellishment.
Monochrome Christmas
Just decided at the last minute to do the Challenge card from http://allsortschallenge.blogspot.com/ I am trying to build up my supply of Christmas cards, so far have 2 made!
Krafty Kards Christmas Theme Challenge
Well, this is my first Christmas card made this year, and probably would not of started yet, if Liz had not done this challege!! So I guess I am ahead this year! hehe.
Also is the first time I did any stitching on a card, as I am too lazy to pull out the sewing machine....but I did manage to do it today! ( cause I do have some sewing to do). Not so sure it was a good thing to do, cause the thread kept getting jammed for some reason, but I did manage to do it.
Made this card using some backing papers I got from Handmade Cards.com, I went crazy last year and bought all her Christmas Kit downloads, but did not get to use them, but I am going to use them this year!
Mouse and Cheese
This is my entry for the Wild Animal, Challenge 13 at http://incywincydesigns.blogspot.com/
I received this stamp in the mail today, from Liz at Crafty Salon, which by the way was so kind of her! So I just had to use it on my challenge card. It is also the first time I have ever coloured a stamped image, I used watercolour pencils.

Sister's Scrapbook
Here are some of the pages for the scrapbook that I have gotten done, still need to add more embellishments to some of the pages yet, but thought I would wait until I have every page done!
Have been working on a Scrapbook for my sister for her 55th birthday. Some of the photos are not quite showing their true colours. Anyway it has taken awhile trying to figure out how to group, what pictures together, trying to use all the photos we have. Her daughter went looking for the photos while her Mom was at work, and she is the one who wanted me to make up a book for her, she has been able to come and help me a couple of times, so that was a help as I need to get it done before the end of next week and still have some more pages to go!!
My First Blog Challenge
This is my entry for the Incy Wincy Colour Challenge http://incywincydesigns.blogspot.com/
Autumn colours, Red, Yellow, Brown, Orange & Green.
I needed a Sympathy Card right away, and thought this would make a really nice one for a male friend of the family. Was really pleased with how it looked. I 3D the maple leaf and used a glitter pen on the veins.
