Hello! I have been crafting ever since I can remember. I am retired now, and have gotten more into making handmade cards. I have also done some scrapbooking and a couple orders for wedding invitations. I really enjoyed doing them! Also have a few baby items I have made, used to sew all the time, but the cards have taken over now!

Old Friends


This was a special card made for three old friends that got together after almost 30yrs. I used a photo I took from our first snowfall this year and a photo of the 3 of them. I did some fiddling and placed the 3 men under the tree and put Santa hats on them all. Then sent it as a Christmas card to the two that were visiting! I think it turned out great!

Destination Wedding Invitation


Made 100 of these for son's wedding. Using a sand coloured cardstock for the base, I then added a layer of handmade paper, with torn edges. Mounted the printed vellum on top. Applied the navy blue raffia and added starfish. I was so happy to find a place in Florida where I could buy 100 starfish for $20!
The one lesson I did learn in making these, is when using square envelopes, the postage costs more.
